As you, the students and parents, will, no doubt, think of me on a generally professional or academic level, I feel it is essential to provide some personal information about myself. Feel free to discuss any of these things with me outside of the classroom.
My name is Conner Armstrong.
I am a citizen of the United States of America, hailing from the state of Michigan.
My wife, Amy, and I have been married since June 13, 2009. This fact, which correlates heavily with my desire to know God better, has led to a deep well of happiness for me.
I play the guitar, bass guitar, and saxophone.
I support the Detroit Red Wings hockey team, the Croatian national football (soccer) team, in the English Premier League the Tottenham Hotspur football (soccer) team, and the University of Michigan American football team.
I have a degree in History with a minor in Biblical Studies from Bryan College.
Subjects of interest to me include world-view comparisons, theology, and rock and roll music from the 1950s-60s.
Five of my favorite books (apart from the Bible) are:
A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court by Mark Twain
All Creature Great and Small by James Herriot
The Tontine by Thomas B. Costain
Lydia Bailey by Kenneth Roberts
A Separate Peace by John Knowles
